I’ve never been to WordCamp.  What can a newbie expect?

    Hi Tortoise.

Livefyre is a messaging system to integrate various methods of messaging. Check them out at http://www.livefyre.com.

How familiar are you with WordPress?

Well, thanks for that.  I have been blogging for a year, but I have not experimented much with a lot of WP look and feel because my objective is not WP as a developer.  I want to master manipulation of WYSIWIG, but I am mostly concerned about building followers.  Thanks to Dummies I have discovered Chapter 7 which I am hoping will help me develop some pages (on what I don’t know yet).  I suppose I need to meet a few folks who have taken one of the canned themes and done good things with it.  I use Motion and love it. What I saw was what I liked, including the color.  I haven’t messed with much.  My site needs something because my bounce rate has shot up to 80%.  It looks like I have a group that sticks with me.  NO ONE EVER COMMENTS.  It took me a long time to figure out the thing was recording my own visits, but I think I fixed that.  All of this should tell you where i am on the learning curve.  It does me no good to chat with folks who want to be developers.  I ain’t there yet. And I don’t want to waste time at Word Camp if it is for advanced folks.
